Terms of Engagement

General terms on which professional services are provided.

  1. Engagement. Services are provided under a written engagement letter that sets out the scope, fees and responsibilities. In case of any difference, the engagement letter prevails over this page.
  2. Fees. Fees are agreed in writing before work begins, generally per stage (reply, hearing, appeal). Fees are not contingent on the outcome. GST and out-of-pocket expenses are charged additionally.
  3. Client responsibilities. The client is responsible for the accuracy and completeness of information and documents provided, and for providing them in time to meet deadlines.
  4. Deadlines. Where documents are provided late, we will make reasonable efforts, including seeking adjournment, but cannot be responsible for consequences of delay.
  5. No guarantee. The outcome of proceedings depends on the authorities. We do not guarantee any result.
  6. Confidentiality. Information is kept confidential, subject to disclosures required by law or professional standards.
  7. Jurisdiction. Any dispute is subject to the jurisdiction of courts at Raipur, Chhattisgarh.
